SENSEI MALYNE hazard (retired)
We were honored to have Malyne Hazard sensei, Doctor Hazard's daughter, as our primary Atarishi-Naginata sensei. A 6th dan in Naginata and a 5th dan in Kendo, Hazard Sensei is a very well-rounded martial artist who has spent much of her life in dedication to budo. Her affable nature makes her incredibly approachable, and in general an enjoyable and traditional teacher. Hazard Sensei is the primary Naginata instructor for the SJSU dojo. Hazard Sensei has stepped down from being the primary instructor in June of 2014.
